Modawar (Karantina) is predominantly a low-income neighborhood that lies east of the port of Beirut, it’s inhabited by almost 400 underprivileged Lebanese, Syrian and Palestinian families. This neighborhood is in high need of many services especially after the tragic Beirut blast including food assistance, shelter rehabilitation, psychosocial support, and hygiene needs in addition to health awareness on both personal and public hygiene issues.
